The Sky Tower in New Zealand is claimed to be the world's "tallest free-standing structure in the Southern Hemisphere", at 328 meters. It houses two restaurants, a SkyJump attraction -- in which persons can jump from the observation deck, and is also used for telecommunications/broadcasting. Click here for more pictures.
